SYNONYM

What do you know about synonyms?

A synonym is a word having the same or nearly the same meaning as another word in certain contexts. With synonyms we can find complicated vocabulary to be simpler. There are so many synonyms in the world that we can find out. Every words in this world have synonyms, in English there are so many synonyms. You can improve your vocabulary skills by learning synonyms. In listening if we want to understand what the speakers says we have to master a lot of vocabulary. As we know, there are so many ways to improve vocabulary,one of that is learning synonyms. We can listening fluently if we understand the meaning of what the speaker says.There are examples of synonyms:

What do you know about Homonym?

Homonym is is a word that sounds the same as another word but differs meaning. Homonym can refer to both homophones and homographs. A homophones are words that is pronounced the same as another words but differs in meaning and is spelling differently. Homographs are words with same spelling but having more than one meaning. In listening we must do many exercises to make perfect listening skill. If we know the context of what the speakers say, we will understand the meaning. There are examples:

Homophone:  
1. Weak = week
2. Meat = meet 
3. Son = sun
4. Sea = see
4. Plain = plane

Homographs: 
1. Bat = bat 
2. Right = right 
3. Address = address
4. Band = band 
5. Ring = ring

My english study experience

My English study experience 

I hate to learn English when I was in junior high school. It was hard because of 2 reasons. But when I was in senior high school I love studying English. I think English is important to learn because most people in the world use English.

The first reason I hate learning English is I'm so confused with tenses I think it's really difficult. I have ever try studying tenses but I still confuse about that. In other conditions, I can't ask my English teacher because of the second reason.

The second reason I hate learning English when I was in junior high school is my teacher was really fierce. I always afraid of asking my teacher about the material I didn't understand. My teacher made me hate English so much. 

But when I was in senior high school I had different conditions. My friend often talks about English culture and language. They were so interested in English and that makes me interested too. I started to learn English on YouTube. I love watching YouTube videos about English. There are many content on YouTube. 

English became my favorite subject on the senior high school. My English teacher in senior high school was kind and she's always made her students feel confident to speak English in her class however, I'm still not confident at all to speak English. I plan to watch English videos on YouTube routine every day to improve my English. 

And now I still learning English because I'm a student in college and I take a major English education. my lecture teaches me English so detail and complete and makes my knowledge growing. I try to understand English more and more.
